MORE socialization... My favorite part are the comments from "urbanist", whose thinking is we MUST check up on homeschoolers because homeschool parents are not EXPERTS on raising/teaching children. Because he/she has evidence of this. Oh wait. NO. He/she does NOT.

Quote:
"I'm implying that a child should be given the chance to be educated someone who is professionally trained to educate children and look children objectively and apply a variety of methods for developing a child mentally just as a child should be physically examined by a professional."

WHY? You have no statistics or evidence to prove that this will improve a child's education or even their quality of life.

There are plenty of children in this world, even in this country, who are starving, under clothed, without adequate shelter and without loving attention. There are far more children being neglected in public schools around this country. Step up to the plate and give them a boost. Fight for THEM! Do something to improve the lives of children who are actually in need, in stead of fighting with adults on whether their chosen method of educating their children is the "correct" way.(THEY ARE PROACTIVELY INVOLVED IN HELPING THEIR CHILDREN OBTAIN AN EDUCATION, FOLKS!!! Something is WRONG with people that want to fight about this.)
