Saint Andrew's Abbey

Learning about monks....we decided to visit some!  This was great fun...in the middle of nowhere, but a perfect, warm, January day.  Grammy S joined us again.  Which was especially wonderful because she graciously helped wrangle the littles when it was "quiet time" during the presentations.

Our day included :

• calligraphy  instruction
• breakfast 
• tour of the ceramics factory
• learning Gregorian chant
• participating in a Latin mass
• tour of the grounds
• lunch and q & a with a monk
